Brian Anderson Moves To Dry Swings
3 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson (shoulder) took some dry swings on Monday as he progresses from a dislocated shoulder. Anderson has been out since May 24 and since he was recently moved to the 60-day injured list, he won't be eligible to return for at least another month. The 28-year-old was slashing .250/.316/.371 with a .687 OPS, three home runs, 13 runs scored, 11 RBI and three stolen bases in 136 plate appearances before his injury occurred. Anderson will likely remain on the waiver wire in shallow leagues until he gets closer to an actual return. Jon Berti, Deven Marrero and Isan Diaz will continue sharing time at the hot corner in the meantime.
