Brian Anderson Is Fine After Being Hit By a Pitch
5 years agoUpdating a previous report, Miami Marlins third baseman/outfielder Brian Anderson (hand) "is fine" after being forced to leave Monday's game due to a hit by pitch. Anderson took a Ryan Helsley fastball off his left hand, the same hand that he broke last season from a hit by pitch. It's a huge relief for the Marlins, who like what they have in Anderson, but he's more of a depth piece in deep mixed formats at this point. His positional versatility gives him a slight nudge, but he'll have to show a bit more of the power he showed in 2019 before he becomes a must-own in shallow mixed leagues.
