Brian Anderson Goes Hitless Against Tampa
6 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson went 0-for-4 with a walk in the loss to the Rays on Wednesday. It was yet another unproductive outing for the young up-and-comer, going just 8-for-41 for four RBI and a subpar .195 average this month to go along with 41 strikeouts on the year. Despite his inefficiencies, he still ranks second on the team in hits with 34 on the year while leading the team with a .810 OPS. He has a decent shot at getting back on track on Friday night against Jacob deGrom and the Mets, with Anderson going 6-for-17 with a walk against the righty throughout his career.
