3 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson (shoulder) is on his way back to the injured list, and may not play again this season. Anderson previously spent time on the injured list with a left shoulder subluxation, and that's what this new injury is being described as also. If Anderson's season is indeed over, he'll finish 2021 with a .249/.337/.378 line in just 67 games played. Anderson hasn't played in more than 126 games since his rookie season of 2018. Isan Diaz and Joe Panik figure to get most of the starts at third base for the Marlins for the remainder of the season.
