Brewers Bring Back Gio Gonzalez
6 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers agreed to a one-year, $2 million major league contract with free-agent starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez on Wednesday, according to sources. The deal also includes $2 million in performance bonuses. Gonzalez pitched well for the Brew Crew after being traded over from Washington last year, but he's 33 years old and isn't a lock to be very productive if he's starting games for the Brewers in 2019. He's worth a flier in NL-only leagues, but those in deep mixed leagues should sit tight for now.
