Breshad Perriman Is Just A Decoy
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Breshad Perriman (quadriceps) is still battling an injury and has been logging limited practices the past two weeks. He could be a game-time decision. If he doesn't play, speedy rookie Scott Miller will get a chance to start and should now be on your radar. Perriman has been an afterthought after amassing only two fantasy points during three weeks of action. It seems he is only being used as a decoy to stretch the field on every play. With Chris Godwin (hip) unable to practice and Mike Evans sure to gain all of the attention this week, Perriman should be in line for an increased workload. However, this is no guarantee, as both tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate are above him on the pecking order. If he does anything substantial this Sunday against the Rams Defense, he may become more relevant. Unfortunately, the odds of this are slim to none. He is a WR4 with a slight uptick if Godwin misses time.
