Brenton Doyle Still Not Ready To Return
2 days agoColorado Rockies outfielder Brenton Doyle (quadriceps) will miss his sixth straight game in Wednesday's series finale against the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers. Doyle continues to recover from left-quadriceps soreness, but with a day off on Thursday, his fantasy managers will be hoping that he'll be feeling good enough to return to the field for Friday's series opener against the Washington Nationals. But if the 26-year-old is unable to go on Friday or at some point over the weekend, this could turn into an injured-list situation. The former fourth-rounder is a fantasy stud when healthy and is currently batting .321 (17-for-53) with three home runs, 12 RBI, a steal and seven runs scored. Doyle is a must-start in fantasy if he's active. Mickey Moniak is starting in center field and is hitting seventh on Wednesday against Dodgers right-hander Bobby Miller, who is making his first MLB start of 2025.
