7 months agoColorado Rockies outfielder Brenton Doyle (chest) is back in center field and is batting seventh on Monday against the visiting San Diego Padres and right-hander Dylan Cease. The Rockies held Doyle out as a precaution for the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday against the Seattle Mariners after he suffered a chest injury in Game 1. The 25-year-old has limited fantasy upside while hitting down near the bottom of Colorado's batting order, but that hasn't taken away from his hot start in 2024. The former fourth-rounder in 2019 from Shepherd University his hitting .289 (22-for-76) with three home runs, seven RBI and two stolen bases.
