Brendan Steele Mired In Slump
6 years agoBrendan Steele started the 2018 season with a bang by picking up a win at the Safeway Open. He continued his strong play throughout the winter months, but his played has nosedived over the summer. Steele hasn't logged a top-20 finish since March, despite being an elite ballstriker. His shortcomings on and around the greens have limited his chances in prominent tournaments. Steele logged a T24 in his WGC-Bridgestone debut last year, but he will need to get things worked out with the putter if he hopes to contend this week. He carries a bargain DraftKings price of only $6,900 and is a large-field GPP option.
