Brendan Steele Has Struggled In Open Championships
6 years agoBrendan Steele will attempt to turn his Open Championship fortunes around this week at Carnoustie. Steele has struggled in golf's oldest major, missing the cut in all three of his career Open appearances. The American picked up a PGA Tour win last October and started the 2018 on fire, reeling off six consecutive cuts made. However, Steele's game has nosedived since an ugly Masters performance. Over his last three tournament appearances, Steele has only managed an MDF, a T63, and a missed cut. It seems unlikely that Steele will find his game this week in an environment where he has traditionally struggled. He shouldn't be in DFS consideration with his current form.
