1 year agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (shoulder) took part in batting practice Saturday. In spring training, he had surgery to fix the labrum in his non-throwing shoulder. The 26-year-old began some baseball activities in mid-June and is on target to return from the injured list in August. He slashed .266/.325/.408 with 13 home runs, 63 RBI, and 72 runs scored across 581 plate appearances in 2022. Fantasy managers with an open IL spot can stash Rodgers for now but shouldn't expect the former first-rounder to return to action until later in the season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
