Brendan Rodgers Slowly Progressing From Hamstring Strain
4 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) is slowly making progress in his rehab from a hamstring strain, according to Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post. Saunders reports that Rodgers is hitting on the field and working out in the weight room, and is close to running on grass, but he is still not ready for infield work or running on the bases. Rodgers suffered a hamstring strain during Spring Training that he was originally believed to have been able to return from by Opening Day, but a week and a half before the season started reports came out that he would miss at least a month due to the injury. There still remains no set timetable for when he could rejoin the team.
