Brendan Rodgers Goes 2-For-4 During Rehab Game
1 year agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (shoulder) had an impressive day at the plate Thursday during his rehab game with Triple-A Albuquerque, going 2-for-4 with a double. He's now slashing .417/.417/.583 over three games with Albuquerque. The 26-year-old Rodgers was injured during spring training and required shoulder surgery that looked like it could end his season. However, the four-year veteran has a chance to return to the big league club in August. Across 137 contests last season, Rodgers slashed .266/.325/.408 with 13 homers, 72 runs, and 63 RBI, steady production in any format.
