Los Angeles Kings left-winger Brendan Lemieux had not scored in five games, so naturally he converted a rare opportunity in the second period on Thursday. He fired a surprising six shots on goal and generated four scoring chances in 15:40 of ice time. When Lemieux gets an opportunity in the top-six, he tends to excel for the most part. His goal beat Jaroslav Halak clean and was the only puck Los Angeles got past him in 65 minutes. Lemieux now has six goals in 21 games. Though he mostly plays fourth-line minutes, one has to wonder if he sees middle-six ice time on a more consistent basis soon.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings right-winger Brendan Lemieux played a hair less than ten minutes on Saturday. Despite that, he still made an impact on the game. Lemieux had just one shot on goal but made it count late in the third period. He was able to get the puck past Kaapo Kahkonen and give Los Angeles a 2-1 lead midway into the third period. It was Lemieux's fifth goal of the year. The forward has minimal fantasy value but on Saturday, his timely return from suspension helped give Los Angeles a huge home win. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings winger Brendan Lemieux scored again on Sunday night versus the Arizona Coyotes. It was the only goal on the night as Lemieux had several scoring chances in less than 11 minutes of ice time. Lemieux had two shots on goal and a blocked shot on the night. That raised Lemieux to five points in his last six games all while playing bottom-six minutes. The question now becomes does the winger finally see an expanded role in the Los Angeles offense? That may happen soon.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings left-winger Brendan Lemieux had just two goals on the year coming into Saturday afternoon. The middle-six forward played over 13 minutes but still made quite the impact. Lemieux scored a goal, added an assist, and had a couple of scoring chances too. In all, he had three shots on goal, delivered three hits, and even took a 27-second shift on the man advantage. Lemieux now has three goals in 11 games for the Kings as he tries to find ways to gain more ice time. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
