Breece Hall's Workload To Be Limited Early On
1 year agoThe New York Jets' plan is to limit running back Breece Hall's (knee) workload early in the regular season, leaning on Dalvin Cook as the primary ball-carrier, according to a source. The team also has Michael Carter, Zonovan Knight and rookie fifth-rounder Israel Abanikanda. Hall, who rushed for 463 yards in seven games as a rookie before tearing his ACL, is regarded by the organization as the long-term feature back. Hall said his knee is sound, but he still experiences occasional knee soreness and still wonders whether he can make certain cuts. Head coach Robert Saleh said Hall "looks freaking good" but added that the team will "take our time with him." Hall's injury and the fact that Cook is now in town really hurts his fantasy appeal as an RB2 for the upcoming season.
