Breece Hall Remains Viable Against Patriots
Breece Hall has been excellent for fantasy purposes as of late and will hope to find continued success in a Week 18 divisional clash with the New England Patriots. Although New England has been incredibly stout against the run this season, much of Hall's production has come from his heavy utilization as a pass-catcher. The second-year pro has earned the most targets of any running back this year and has received 25 looks from quarterback Trevor Siemian in his two starts. Expectations should be tempered for Hall in this matchup, but fantasy managers can continue to trust him as a solid RB2.

Breece Hall Could Be Part Of Committee In 2025
Breece Hall is used to being the team's featured back, but new head coach Aaron Glenn hinted that both Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis could be more involved in 2025 as part of more of a committee approach to the backfield. "I think, mentally, he's in a good place, but I would say that we have three running backs on this team that we're going to utilize as much as possible," Glenn said. The 23-year-old former second-round pick (36th overall) in 2022 out of Iowa State was a disappointment for fantasy managers as an RB1 in his third year in the league in 2024, as Hall went for 876 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 209 carries while also catching 57 passes for 483 yards and three more TDs in 16 starts. It might be that Hall simply needs to prove he's still the go-to back to the new coaching staff, but the addition of QB Justin Fields is also bad news for Hall's status as a sure-fire RB1 heading into 2025.

Jets Unlikely To Pursue Early Extension For Breece Hall
Breece Hall, who will be a free agent in 2026. It doesn't mean that won't change, but the Jets have to promising young backs in Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis, who are both under contract through 2027. Hall, who tore his ACL in his rookie season in 2022, took a slight step back in 2024 with 876 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 209 rushing attempts in 16 starts, adding 57 receptions on 76 targets for 483 yards and three additional scores through the air. The 23-year-old running back still has RB1 upside in fantasy heading into his fourth NFL season, but he finished as the RB17 in half-PPR scoring a year ago, and the jury will be out on his 2025 fantasy value until we know who the Jets will be starting at quarterback.

Breece Hall Runs For 57 Yards, Catches TD In Week 18 Win
Breece Hall carried the ball 12 times for 57 yards and caught three of his five targets for 15 yards and a touchdown while rushing for a two-point conversion in a 32-20 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 18. Hall's late-season struggles on the ground continued as he failed to top 60 rushing yards in five straight games to close out the year. That being said, he salvaged his afternoon with a six-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. Hall finishes his 2024 season with 876 rushing yards while catching 57 passes for 483 yards and scoring eight all-purpose touchdowns. He will be back as the Jets' lead running back heading into the 2025 season, although rookies Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis both flashed at various points throughout the season.

Breece Hall An RB2 In Week 18
Breece Hall will put the final touches on his 2024 season in a home matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Week 18. Hall was quiet in his last game, posting 53 all-purpose yards on 11 touches. He will look to bounce back against a Miami run defense that is allowing just the 20th-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Hall settles in as an RB2 in fantasy but is probably not a high-ceiling play in DFS contests this weekend due to his recent struggles and the tough matchup on tap.
