Breece Hall Lands On The PUP List
1 year agoAccording to ESPN's Field Yates, the Jets placed running back Breece Hall (knee) on the Physically Unable to Perform list on Wednesday. The 22-year-old finished his rookie season by accumulating 463 yards off 80 carries while amassing 19 catches for 219 yards. He also found the end zone five times, including running for a touchdown in four consecutive games. Unfortunately, Hall's year abruptly ended after suffering a season-ending ACL tear. The 2022 second-round pick can come off the PUP list at any time during training camp. But if Hall stays on it to start the 2023-24 campaign, he'll need to miss at least the first six weeks, meaning Michael Carter, Israel Abanikanda, and Zonovan Knight would battle for the starting job, although all three may get work.
