Breece Hall A Classic Floor-Ceiling Play In Week 1
2 years agoNew York Jets rookie running back Breece Hall is a classic example of a floor-ceiling/boom-bust option in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens. Hall has the elite three-down skillset to be a player who doesn't need to leave the field when his team is on offense. His draft status (top of round 2) also indicates that the Jets are planning on having him take over the backfield at some point. That point may not be Week 1, though, as Michael Carter figures to still be heavily involved. While we won't know the split until we see it, most Jets writers are predicting something close to a 50-50 timeshare to start the season. That makes Hall a risky play in Week 1 lineups, but one who certainly could have upside.
