6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point had two goals and an assist on Saturday as the team easily dismantled Columbus 8-2. Point had been a slight doubt for the game after leaving practice early on Friday, but he looked perfectly fine. He scored one unassisted and was helped by J.T. Miller and Mikhail Sergachev on a power play for the second one. His first assist of the season came on a power play as well, with Miller finishing the scoring in the dying seconds. Point now has goals in consecutive games and he'll be confident of continuing the streak with the Bolts facing Carolina and Detroit next, two teams that have allowed a lot of goals.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
