Calgary Flames defenseman Brayden Pachal is expected to make his team debut on Tuesday on the road against the Boston Bruins. The 24-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday after appearing in 17 games for them this season, recording one assist and 12 penalty minutes in that time. "It's a new beginning and a new chapter in my career, so looking forward to it," Pachal said on Monday. He signed with Vegas as an undrafted free agent in September of 2019 and collected one goal and two assists across 29 regular-season games with the club since. Pachal also appeared in one postseason game with the club last season, collecting two penalty minutes in that contest.--Brenton Kemp
