3 years agoBoston Red Sox pitching prospect Brayan Bello will be promoted from Double-A to Triple-A, according to Red Sox beat writer Chris Cotillo. Bello is ranked as the team's top pitching prospect by MLB Pipeline. The 22-year-old right-hander has been excellent this year at Double-A. Over six starts, he's gone 4-2 with a 1.60 ERA and 0.83 WHIP while averaging 11.2 K/9. His fastball has been seeing an average velocity in the high-90s this year while topping out at 100 mph. He also mixes in a changeup and a slider. If his strong year continues, there's a chance we could see him make his MLB debut sooner rather than later.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
