5 years agoThe Atlanta Braves placed starting pitcher Max Fried (finger) on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a blister on his left index finger and recalled starter Bryse Wilson from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. Wilson started the game on Tuesday against Milwaukee. Fried left his start on Monday against the Brew Crew after tossing five scoreless innings. He is 10-4 on the year with a 4.08 ERA and has 102 strikeouts and 31 walks in 103 2/3 innings on the season. Fried has had past issues with blisters, but hopefully for his fantasy owners he won't miss more than a start or two. Wilson has a rough 6.14 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in three starts and one relief outing in Atlanta this year, but he's one of the team's better pitching prospects. His fantasy value in redraft leagues isn't very high, though, as he might only be keeping a rotation spot in the short term.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
