Braves-Marlins Postponed On Sunday
9 seconds agoThe Atlanta Braves announced that their game against the division-rival Miami Marlins at Truist Park on Sunday has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9, at 1:15 PM ET as part of a split doubleheader. Fantasy managers will obviously want to remove any players from this game from their starting lineups for Sunday's slate. Right-hander Sandy Alcantara was scheduled to toe the rubber for the Fish, while the Braves had right-hander Grant Holmes lined up to start in the series finale in Atlanta. Alcantara will likely be pushed back to start Monday's series opener at Citi Field against the division-rival New York Mets, while Holmes could be skipped entirely with the team having a scheduled day off on Monday. Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday at home against the division-rival Philadelphia Phillies.
