Brandon Wu hasn't posted a top-25 finish since the Canadian Open in June. Wu has the game to randomly post a high finish like he has in the past, but his recent form suggests that is unlikely. Wu has played in Bermuda twice and finished outside the top 30 both times. The combination of poor recent form and lack of solid course history gives reason to Worry about playing Wu this week.

Brandon Wu had a rough patch but is slowly gaining confidence for this week's Sanderson Farms Championship. The American golfer finished tied for second at Pebble Beach way back in early February. Wu put himself into decent position at last year's tournament shooting consecutive 69's. However, a 73 on Saturday derailed his chances to contend. Part of that may be his driving ability and putting. He only goes 295.1 on average off the tee. Also, he only ranks 107th in strokes gained to putting at -0.092. His birdie average is 3.97 per round which ranks a solid 37th, however.

Brandon Wu has made the cut in his second consecutive tournament, finishing T58 and T57 at the Wyndham Championship and 3M Open, respectively. He is gearing up for his second appearance in the FedEx St. Jude Championship this week after missing the cut in last year's edition. It's worth noting that Wu has missed the cut in five of his previous eight appearances, but he did secure a top-10 finish at the RBC Canadian Open in June. Wu's accuracy off the tee makes him a strong contender for fantasy lineups this week. In addition, he currently ranks 62nd in driving accuracy this year, and his iron play is impressive, ranking in the 72nd percentile in greens in regulation on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway.

Brandon Wu has been a bit of a wildcard this season. For most of the season, Wu has either finished inside the top 25 or missed the cut. That kind of volatility makes it tough to trust Wu every week but shows the upside he has. However, Wu has now missed five of six cuts and has started to struggle with his best skill set. Wu's strong suit is off the tee, but that part of his game has faded a bit over the past two months. Until he's back to better ball striking, Wu doesn't have the same high upside.
