Brandon Woodruff Turns In Quality Start Against Pirates
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff had a decent outing against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. He pitched six innings and allowed four hits, three walks and three earned runs while striking out nine. He wound up with a no decision for the game. Woodruff's three walks on Saturday matched a season-high. He's been fantastic at limiting walks across the year as he's maintained a stellar 5.0 K/BB ratio. The 29-year-old is slated to make one more start prior to the All-Star break. It will come next Friday against the San Francisco Giants.
