Brandon Woodruff To Appear In Minor-League Game Next Week
1 month agoMilwaukee Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) is tentatively scheduled to pitch in a minor-league game next Tuesday. Woodruff is currently on a schedule of every six days as he recovers from right-shoulder surgery that kept him sidelined for the entire 2024 season. There isn't a clear timetable for when the 32-year-old veteran will be able to make his 2025 debut, but what we do know is that he will not be a part of the Opening Day starting rotation in Milwaukee. Woodruff was an ace for the Brewers before his shoulder issues, but because of the fact he won't be ready to start the season and his long layoff, RotoBaller has him ranked as only the No. 76 fantasy starting pitcher this year. Not only did he not pitch at all in 2024, but Woodruff only made 11 starts in 2023 before being shut down. Temper expectations for him in 2025.
