Brandon Woodruff Only Last Four Innings
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff gave up three runs Thursday in a no-decision against the Twins. Woodruff allowed six hits and two walks while fanning five across four innings. Woodruff got the nod for opening day for the second straight season but wasn't very effective in this contest lasting only four innings. He did well to minimize the damage, and the 28-year-old should find more success going forward. He posted a career-best 3.05 ERA in 2020 across 13 starts and hopes to continue that success over a full season in 2021. He's a flamethrower and fantasy owners need not worry about him going forward.
