Brandon Woodruff Non-Tendered By Brewers
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) has been non-tendered by the organization on Friday. The Brewers were reportedly discussing trading Woodruff, but weren't able to finalize a deal. It's a tough sell given the fact Woodruff will likely make over $10 million next season and isn't expected to pitch at all due to shoulder surgery. It appears the Brewers aren't going to hold out hope that Woodruff is able to contribute in 2024. That being said, Woodruff will now become a free agent this offseason. He'll likely get a two-year deal from an organization with the 2024 campaign likely being wasted while he recovers.
