Brandon Woodruff Mediocre Tuesday
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff gave up two runs on seven hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings in Tuesday's win against the Cardinals. Woodruff has been pretty mediocre this season, giving you no really great starts and no absolute duds. However, he is able to strike batters out, as he struck out six Cardinals on Tuesday, and he is averaging over a strikeout per inning so far this season. In deeper leagues, Woodruff may be worth a roster slot as he does have decent upside, but that's about it. His next scheduled start is at home against the Dodgers on Sunday, and it would be wise to keep him on your bench.
