3 years agoSt. Louis Blues winger Brandon Saad ended a five-game dry spell with two goals in Thursday's 4-1 victory over San Jose, recording six shots in total with a plus-one rating in 16:09 of ice time. He opened the scoring with a power-play marker in the first period and scored an even-strength goal in the second frame. Saad has now scored six goals in 12 appearances this season with 34 shots and boasts seven points for the year. Interestingly, four of Saad's goals have come against the Sharks. The Blues have struggled lately, but this one should help them get back on track and Saad will be able to boost his numbers during a busy stretch, which starts on Saturday against Dallas.
