Brandon Nimmo Shut Down For Another Month
5 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (neck) has been shut down for the next 30 days after receiving a second epidural for his injured neck. Nimmo has been on the 10-day injured list since May 21 and does not currently have a timeline in place for a return. Nimmo broke out for the Mets in 2018, hitting 17 home runs to go along with an .886 OPS in 140 games. A disappointment this season prior to the injury, Tuesday's news provides little optimism that any investment fantasy owners made in the quirky outfielder will yield anywhere near equal return this year.
