1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (leg, shoulder) is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies. Nimmo has been dealing with a sore right leg and has been in and out of the lineup over the past week. It's not yet known if he will play in the second game of the doubleheader. Nimmo has put together a nice season overall for the Mets, slashing .274/.363/.466 with 24 home runs, 68 RBI, and three stolen bases over 592 at-bats. Both the home runs and the RBI are career highs for the 30-year-old. Rafael Ortega is starting in center field and batting leadoff against Taijuan Walker in Saturday's opening bill.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
