Brandon Nimmo Making Spring Debut On Friday
56 seconds agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (foot) will make his spring training debut against the Washington Nationals on Friday. Nimmo has been recovering from plantar fasciitis in his left foot, which is something that bothered him last season as well. The fact he's back in the lineup on Friday means that Nimmo must be feeling better. He'll bat in the cleanup spot and play left field during Friday's game. The 31-year-old saw his numbers take a dive last season, but he does have a good track record. Nimmo has played over 150 games in each of the last three seasons. If healthy, Nimmo will be out there and figures to have a bounce back year in 2025.
