Brandon Nimmo Hits Seventh Home Run
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo hit his seventh home run of the season, accounting for the Mets only run in their 4-1 loss to the Phillies on Tuesday. Nimmo went 2-for-5 in the contest. He is now hitting .263 on the season with a .388 on-base percentage to go with seven homers and 13 RBI. Nimmo is now batting .353 over his last four games (6-for-17) and makes for a decent play as a streaming outfielder in OBP leagues. Managers in need of an extra boost in OBP down the stretch can look to Nimmo for help. Nimmo can also help in the runs category while hitting leadoff in the Mets lineup without killing your power counting stats, especially if he can remain hot for the next week and a half.
