Brandon Nimmo Hits Fourth Homer Monday
7 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo had a nice day at the plate in Monday's 4-3 win over the Cardinals. Nimmo went 2-for-5 with a single, a solo home run, and a strikeout. The 31-year-old has been underwhelming offensively to start the season, slashing .228/.376/.394 with four HR, 19 runs scored, 22 RBI, and two stolen bases in 157 plate appearances. He has a history of being a solid fantasy contributor, so fantasy managers may want to stick with him for now except perhaps in shallow leagues.
