6 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Brandon Morrow (elbow) will be evaluated this week and could resume throwing if everything checks out. Morrow has missed the whole season thus far as he is recovering from right elbow surgery and has not thrown in the big leagues since last July. With Pedro Strop (hamstring) also on the injured list, the Cubs have turned to Steve Cishek as their closer. There is still no guarantee that Morrow will return this season and he can be left on the waiver wire.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
