6 years agoAfter throwing one inning in a simulated game on Saturday, Chicago Cubs closer Brandon Morrow (biceps) expects to be activated in a few days. This would be a big boost to both the Cubs and fantasy owners as Pedro Strop (hamstring) was ruled out for the season on Friday. Morrow has been out since the middle of July with a bone bruise in his right elbow. With Strop sidelined, the Cubs are likely to use a combination of Jesse Chavez, Steve Cishek and Carl Edwards Jr. to pitch in save opportunities until Morrow returns.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
