Brandon Montour Scores Twice In Victory
16 seconds agoSeattle Kraken defenseman Brandon Montour found the back of the net twice and added two helpers during their 5-4 overtime victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Montour scored his first goal in the opening frame. In the third period, Montour would add two helpers, both of them coming on the power-play. In overtime, Montour would put his name in the record books as he scored four seconds into the period, which is the fastest mark in NHL history. Entering Wednesday, Montour tallied an impressive five points (three goals) over his last seven contests. During this span, he tallied 22 shots on goal with seven hits and four blocked shots on goal. Through 65 total games this season, the 30-year-old has tallied 36 points. He will look to continue his offensive surge on Friday against the Utah Hockey Club.
