Brandon Marsh Stays Hot, Plates Four Monday
Brandon Marsh continued his hot start to the season in Monday's 6-2 win over the Marlins, going 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run home run, four RBI, and a walk. Marsh got things going for the Angels, smashing a first-inning Elieser Hernandez fastball into the center-field shrubs to take a 3-0 lead. The 24-year-old has gotten off to an encouraging start at the plate, slashing .400/.571/.800 through 14 plate appearances. It is very early in the season, but Marsh is currently rostered in just five percent of leagues. He is worth keeping an eye on in deeper five-outfielder leagues at this time in case he continues to hit.

J.T. Realmuto, Brandon Marsh Out Of Action Against Guardians
J.T. Realmuto and outfielder Brandon Marsh will both start on the bench for Friday's series opener versus the hosting Cleveland Guardians. Rafael Marchan is doing the catching and batting ninth, while Johan Rojas will start in center field and bat eighth against Guardians right-hander Gavin Williams. Realmuto fouled a ball off his foot on Wednesday but returned to the lineup on Thursday, so there shouldn't be any concerns about his health. The 34-year-old has yet to really get going offensively and has gone 5-for-21 with a homer and four RBI in six games in May. Given his slow start to the year -- .170 (9-for-53) with a homer and seven RBI and a trip to the injured list -- Marsh isn't even guaranteed regular playing time against righties. Neither Marchan nor Rojas are very attractive DFS sleepers

Brandon Marsh Activated Off 10-Day Injured List
Brandon Marsh (hamstring) off the 10-day injured list prior to their contest against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday evening. In a corresponding move, the Phillies are sending Cal Stevenson to Triple-A. Marsh has been held out of action with a strained right hamstring since April 20. Before his injury, Marsh posted a .095/.220/.167 slash line with just four total hits (one home run). During this slow start, Marsh held a 16:7 K:BB and tallied just five RBI. Under the hood, he generated a low .259 xwOBA with a .159 xBA. Fantasy managers should expect Marsh to have close to an everyday role in center field. However, given his slow start, he should only be targeted in deeper 15+ team formats.

Brandon Marsh To Resume Rehab Assignment On Thursday
Brandon Marsh (hamstring) will resume his minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Scott Lauber. Marsh will play again on Friday and could rejoin the Phillies' big-league roster after that. A strained right hamstring landed Marsh on the 10-day injured list, and the 27-year-old experienced cramping in the same hamstring while playing for Lehigh Valley last Sunday. He's feeling good enough to play in games again, though, and he could rejoin the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park this weekend for their series against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks. It's been a tough year so far for Marsh, who in addition to his hamstring injury has gone 4-for-42 (.095) with a homer and five RBI. Before landing on the IL, he had gone hitless in his last 31 at-bats. It remains to be seen how much he'll play when he returns to Philly.

Brandon Marsh Expected To Resume Rehab This Week
Brandon Marsh (hamstring) is expected to resume his rehab at some point this week, reports Matt Gelb of The Athletic. Marsh left his rehab game on Sunday with a cramp in his injured right hamstring and is seeing a doctor. Even though it's an issue with the injury he is rehabbing, it was just a cramp, and the Phillies don't seem to be concerned. The outfielder will be looking to turn his season around once he does get activated, since he was batting just .095 through 17 games before being placed on the injured list.
