6 months agoThe Philadelphia Phillies placed outfielder Brandon Marsh (hamstring) and infielder Kody Clemens (back) on the 10-day injured list on Monday and recalled outfielders Weston Wilson and David Dahl from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in corresponding moves. Marsh strained his right hamstring in Sunday's loss to the St. Louis Cardinals and was removed in the eighth inning. Clemens was scratched from Sunday's lineup with back spasms and was replaced in the lineup by utility man Whit Merrifield. Both players will now miss at least the next 10 days of action as they heal up. Dahl is starting in left field and will bat seventh on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Both he and Merrifield will battle for playing time in Philly's outfield with Marsh out. UPDATE: Marsh and Clemens have "very mild" injuries, according to manager Rob Thomson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
