Brandon Marsh Diagnosed With Bone Bruise
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh (knee) underwent an MRI on his knee. The results showed no structural damage, helping determine his knee injury to be a bone bruise. However, he is also dealing with a sprained ankle. According to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com, it's "very possible" a stint on the injured list is coming. Marsh injured his knee during Tuesday's game after attempting to rob home plate. The 24-year-old has appeared in 12 games with the Phillies since joining the team before the trade deadline. Over those 12 games, he's slashed .250/.294/.313 with two extra-base hits, both doubles.
