1 year agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday. The organization announced on Wednesday that Lowe has been shut down from baseball activities for 2-3 weeks. It sounds like the Rays are going to give Lowe plenty of time to recover from his disc issue in his back. The organization hasn't given a timetable for Lowe, but the expectation is that he'll likely be out until closer to the All-Star break.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
