Brandon Lowe Feeling Good After Tuesday's Workout
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe (back) resumed baseball activities on Tuesday, participating in some pregame work. Afterwards, the 28-year-old told reporters he was feeling "great." Lowe hasn't been in a game since June 3 after experiencing back stiffness and hitting the injured list. The one-time All-Star hopes to be back before the All-Star break, but there is no set timetable for his return right now. Before the injury, Lowe was enduring a bit of a tough season at the dish, slashing .205/.299/.398 with nine bombs, 26 runs, 29 RBI, and three stolen bases across 50 games. His power is valuable in every format, so hopefully, he can return sooner rather than later.
