Brandon Ingram Returns With 19 Points Against Memphis
3 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans small forward Brandon Ingram returned from a seven-game absence with a 19-point effort in the team's first home win of the season against Memphis on Saturday. He had issues with his shooting prior to a hip injury and didn't look great here either, going 1-for-4 from deep and 7-for-17 overall from the field. Ingram posted four assists with four turnovers and had three rebounds and one block in 29 minutes. The 24-year-old made a hot start to the season, so he's still averaging 24.1 points per game. However, Ingram's shooting woes might continue for a while, as the Pelicans start a tough week that includes multiple meetings against very good defensive teams.
