Brandon Ingram Leads Pelicans With 28 Points
5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans small forward Brandon Ingram scored a team-high 28 points in Sunday's road loss to Houston, shooting 10-for-23 from the field and 5-for-11 from three-point range. He also led the team with 12 rebounds and added three assists. Ingram had a bit of a rough time in the first few games playing alongside Zion Williamson, but he got going in a big way on Sunday. Zion had a good game and a double-double as well with 21 points and 10 rebounds. The young Pels will be battling Giannis Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee next. Ingram had a nice 25-point, 10-rebound double-double against Milwaukee in this season's first matchup when Giannis missed the game. It promises to be a lot tougher this time around if he's around.
