Brandon Drury Lands On 10-Day DL
7 years agoIn the bottom of the sixth inning of last night’s 14-inning defeat to the Baltimore Orioles, the New York Yankees surprisingly pinch hit Ronald Torreyes for third baseman Brandon Drury. News of what could possibly be wrong with 25-year-old were scarce, but now things are clear, as he’s landed on the 10-day disabled list with migraines. Drury reportedly had severe migraines and blurred vision during the game, scary symptoms for the first-year Yankee. With the club already featuring another third baseman on the roster in Miguel Andujar, they instead opted to promote outfielder Jace Peterson from Triple-A in Drury’s absence.
