Brandon Clarke Scores Game-High 27 Points Off The Bench
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small forward Brandon Clarke was huge for the team on Wednesday, matching his career-high 27 points in a 111-104 win over Portland. The 23-year-old rookie led all scorers, shooting an incredible 12-for-14 from the field and 3-for-5 at the line. He added six rebounds, two steals, and one assist in 23 minutes of action off the bench. Clarke is enjoying a fine rookie season by averaging 12.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in 21.8 minutes. He's been quite inconsistent lately, but there have also been some really good performances by him that have included a double-double. He could be flirting with one again in the next matchup against the Kings, who are 23rd in the league in rebounding percentage.
