3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (knee) was scratched from the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres due to right knee discomfort. According to Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area, Belt had his knee drained on Friday as he sat out Friday's game. Wilmer Flores started at first base on Friday and Darin Ruf covered the bag in Saturday's game. We'll see if Belt is able to return for the team's series finale against the Padres on Sunday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
