Brandon Aiyuk A Strong WR3 Play In Week 8
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk had his first career 100-yard game last week against the New England Patriots. This week, as the 49ers face the Seattle Seahawks, the team is likely to lean on him even more with Deebo Samuel (hamstring) out. The Seahawks are allowing 368.7 passing yards per game this week, which is dead last in the league. Aiyuk saw seven targets last week while Samuel was on the field, so it's reasonable to believe he should have a floor of around seven targets this week. That alone against the Seahawks' dreadful pass defense should enable him to have a solid showing, making him a strong WR3 play in all formats.
