Branden Grace captured the South African Open in spectacular fashion Sunday. Grace fired a blistering final-round 62 to overcome fellow South African Louis Oosthuizen in Johannesburg. The 31-year-old is coming off one of his worst seasons as a professional in 2019. This victory might indicate a return to form for Grace in the upcoming year. DFS regulars should keep an eye on the gritty Grace when he tees it up on the PGA Tour in the near future. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller

Branden Grace is just not striking the golf ball well or doing much of anything well lately. He could not make anywhere near enough birdies at the season opener. He could not make the cut at the Sony Open. Furthermore, Grace could not get going at all at the Genesis. It was bad. This was more than the 73-74 first two rounds. Arguably, it was his entire game. Grace ranks 140th or lower in every major strokes-gained metric. That is punctuated by his minus-1.654 strokes gained total (209th). This is no misprint. Until Grace finds a way to clean up a few aspects of his game, the struggle may continue.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Branden Grace arrives at The Sony after a 33rd-place finish at The Sentry. The South African won the Puerto Rico Open last year and had a strong summer campaign, highlighted by a seventh-place finish at The U.S. Open. Grace's best finish at the Sony was a 13th-place showing in 2017. Grace did his damage that year on the greens, gaining 4.9 strokes on the green. Grace also has strong finishes at similar courses. One similar course, Harbour Town, Grace has won. In order for Grace to contend at Waialae, he must improve his tee-to-green numbers. He lost 3.9 strokes from tee-to-green last week at Kapalua. With low ownership, Grace is a nice pivot play this week.--Rob Giltner - RotoBaller

Branden Grace has struggled to return to the form he saw last summer. After a seventh-place finish at The U.S. Open and a second-place showing at The Wyndham, Grace has struggled. He has lost 3.8 strokes tee-to-green over his last five starts. With driving distance being a premium at Kapalua, Grace should be at a disadvantage. He ranks 184th on tour in driving distance. Grace has played The Tournament of Champions once in 2017, where he finished 32nd. While Grace's salary is cheap across the industry, he is not a recommended sleeper.--Rob Giltner - RotoBaller
